Homeschooling
The reason I made the decision to homeschool was because my younger son is having major behavioral challenges in school and at home. I think this decision fits for my family for the time being, it might not in a year or so.
It is certainly worth it though, just to get my younger son on sturdier ground. Now when this decision was being discussed my older son also was interested in being homeschooled. So we included him in our decision. I was certainly worried that maybe him moving to homeschooling would pull him off his sturdy ground, but I guess that's just a mothering worrying again. I'm worried about him leaving his friends. He told his friends the next day and they are really supportive of him. They said well just remember that we are here for you, make a BUNCH of play dates. That makes a mom so happy to hear that.
Let me know if you homeschool? What made you come to this decision?

Dr. Appointment.
They sent me the test results of my biospy and it saids "non-diagnostic." Which is somewhat strange, because they don't know what it is. Aren't doctors suppose to know these things? Anyways since my doctor can't figure this out they are sending me to Mayo Clinic. I'm not sure when they'll call me with further information.
Sighs Deeply.

Prayers Needed
Send some prayers my way please. I'm having a biopsy done tomorrow.
My nerves are so shot over this, it feels like an impending doom that will fall upon me if I stop thinking about it.
Either way I can't get it out of my mind.
I know that it doesn't effect the outcome, so I'm counting on maybe your prayers will.

5 Biggest joys
1.) Noise of kids playing
2.) Knowing I am loved beyond measure
3.) Being home
4.) Having a child place his hand in mine, just because he wants to.
5.) Being Mom
I went through the exact same feelings most women have when they have their first child, “wait, this little child is 100% dependant on ME!?” Seriously, it was a difficult adjustment, but also the missing piece of ‘my puzzle’. Lo and behold, I was meant for this crazy ride called ‘motherhood’.
Now that little person when he was 4 was driving our ranch vehicles, helping by driving the hay baler and putting out minerals… tall enough to reach the pedals and incredibly aware of his power and responsibility behind the wheel. He and his Daddy worked long hours every day and I was constantly amazed by his work ethic at just 4 years of age…
Now I'm even more amazed now that he is 11. He is getting excited about driving, he wishes he could get his permit a bit sooner. But all good things come in time.
Some people didn't like the fact that we started our kids out at a young age. They said it was dangerous and inappropiate. I think when you live in the country it's the only way to learn. I believe that my son is better for it, he thinks of driving as a responsibility, because that is what it has always been.

You should never feel like what you write here lacks worth because it isn’t your “whole” story. It doesn’t need to be and never really could be. Just keep writing.
